Dave just talked to Grandma on the phone. She described the pain last night as "uncomfortable" and she was awake until 1 am. Then she asked for a pill and then slept like a rock for 6 or 8 hours!
Just wanted to say a quick hello! We went to the Jazz game last night and were hoping to have time to stop by-but that darn Taco Time got in the way again! We had 2 key people take vacation, and one quit so I have had to work lunch rushes for about 8 days now. I am getting better, but wow a lot has changed since I worked there over 20 years ago. Anyway, we basically got to SLC just in time for the game and the game didn't end until around 11pm and we had to drive back to Rexburg. The game was awesome-even I thought so. The Jazz played really well. Matthew and Jacob were all grins-they didn't know we were going to the game. Brian told them we were driving Vanessa to SLC (she hitched a ride to meet Cam) I wish I had a picture of their faces when the game tickets were revealed. Anyway-yes I do know this blog is not about me-we are so disappointed we were unable to drop in for a visit. We are glad you are doing so well Mom. You look so nice in that picture-almost like you are at a spa or something! We hope to be able be of more help when you get back to Idaho....wishing you well and love you!
Hi Kathleen, I don't know if you are reading your blog but I have the information about your doctor you called about this morning. The web site is: www.beckersasc.com/lists/70-of-the-best-knee-surgeons-in-america.html. The web page is called Becker's ASC Review 70 of the best knee surgeons in America. I don't think it was inspiration but he was the only specialist on the list in Salt Lake and none for Seattle (which kind of hurt my pride.) You sounded so perky and happy on the phone. I was so glad to hear from you. Keep up the therapy, we all know you are a trouper. In my eyes, birthing seven children and raising them is a much tougher job than what you are now doing. Now, you can be one of those positive people to spread the news to get the surgery. Love you a ton, Linda
