Surgery Has Started

Grandma just went into surgery and Grandpa is patiently waiting (reading the Kindle - he's loving that Christmas gift!  Kathleen complains that she doesn't get to see it anymore ;-).  The surgery is expected to last an hour to an hour & 15 minutes, so she should be done around 9:00 or 9:15 a.m. MST.

  1. Dear Cousin, Sister, Best Friend,
The hardest part is now over, the decision to DO IT! No going back now, just recovery and following doctor's orders. Your children will take good care of you. I am thankful that Karen told me about your own personal blog, thanks to David. Now if they could just convince you to get email, we could chat it up during your recovery since you can't hear when we talk on the phone. Frank just had cataract surgery (How can I be so old that I am sleeping with a cataract patient? He has dentures, a lens implant, sholder replacement, hearing aids and hair loss...there's not much of the real Frank left.) He is amazed at how well he sees without his glasses.
We are praying for you, know you have great doctor, terrific care from your family and wish you no anxiety in the process to recover.
Send me Susan's address and I'll send you a card.
    Love and hugs,
    Frank & Linda
